Call for service just as you normally would. The warranty belongs to the machine, not to you.

You're not likely to get a new screen because of one stuck pixel, though.

... no, probably not; you may need to have almost a whole bunch of dead pixels to get a new display - at least according to Display (LCD) replacement for defective pixels - ThinkPad - but be prepared; quite frustration reading, particularly when you are about to order a new ThinkPad!!

Well, I've got a 15" SXGA+ T42, a 15" SXGA+ T60 and a 15" UXGA T42p (all FlexView's), and no dead pixels on any of them... :-)

Anyway, I guess there's nothing to loose by calling and ask? You may be lucky! :thumbs-UP:
IBM T42p's (2373-Q1U & -Q2U): 2.1 GHz, 15" UXGA FlexView, 2 GB RAM, 128 MB FireGL T2, 128 GB 1.8" SATA SSD, IBM a/b/g, BT, Win 7 Ultimate
IBM T42 (2373-N1G): 1.8 GHz, 15" SXGA+ FlexView, 2 GB RAM, 64 MB Radeon 9600, 64 GB 1.8" SATA SSD, IBM a/b/g, BT, Win 7 Ultimate

I had a Flexview with 4 stuck subpixels once. Not that it bothered me, but they were there. Nowhere even close to justifying a replacement. But at some point a more serious defect appeared (looked like the panel was broken with the backlight seeping through). Then they replaced it and no there are no dead pixels too. Funny.
