Upgrading T43 from SXGA+ to UXGA problem, what am I missing?

Just received a brand new 15 UXGA screen FRU# 42T0356 with a UXGA inverter FRU: 39T0359

after swapping it with the SXGA+ screen in my T43 15 2686-M7U I get the picture, but the image only has the size of a 14 inch screen.

What am I missing? the T43 has a ATI X300 video card and should easily support UXGA screen.

Should I also replace the LCD cable?

I will appreciate any help, Thanks

SXGA+ and UXGA use a different cable

ok, got the UXGA cable, installed and it works like a charm!
