a question about warranty repair
a question about warranty repair
Hi all, i found a small problem on my brand new 2373ktu. The left mouse button on the touchpad, doesn't click good if i push it on the right edge, instead of on the center. The other edge works good. I am curious how i can fix this? Would i have to send it in for repair or could they send me the part to replace myself? I guess i would need a new arm rest, since that is where the touchpad and the 2 bottons below are. Thanks for any info.
you could replace it yourslef if you feel comfortable enough. they have videos on the ibm site on how to do these simple repairs/add-ons. If you feel like you might damage something or pull a cable or two too much then you can always just send it in, as it is a minor issue, and have it back before the end of the week.

Got myself a ThinkPad 600E with broken hinges, can I repair old hinges instead of buying new ones?
