Thinkpad Software Installer 'installer' needed

Just tried using the "software installer" to install the wireless drivers and hotkeys, but the installer software said it could not install the wireless drivers, the 'software installer' needed to be updated.

The Thinkpad Software Installer is version 2.00.0375.
Went to the web site

only to find Lenovo does NOT provide these updates any longer, one MUST use their auto update

which I don't like and will not use.

Can anyone send me the Thinkpad Software Installer which is version three?

Any version of software installer that you use is likely to tell you to upgrade to System Update 3. This is because software installer is no longer supported.

If you don't want to use the new version of software installer, you can still download drivers and software individually from the "Drivers and software" page
