When playing DVD's while traveling (on my 2379DXU) - the sound is barely audible - I have maxed the wave, volume control, the one on Media Player - still low. I have tried this with a couple of headsets including some noise cancelling model - (low on speakers too).
Any ideas what could be wrong? Any suggestions for amplified headsets?
I know the DVDs are fine.
Low Volume
Have you tried a different program to play the DVDs? I suspect it's something with your audio codecs... I have recently had a similar problem (well with DVD rips, not actual DVDs)... But it was the codec set I was using, which was ffdshow. I installed K-Lite Codec Pack, and everything is fine now.
