T41P/T42P built in wireless antenna

#1 Post by jcentrel » Mon Nov 15, 2004 9:56 am

I'm looking to buy a used T41P or T42P and will be using it with my wireless G network. I wanted to know if I need to look for a T41P/T42P with a B/G card or A/B/G card vs. just B and upgrading myself. In other words... I'm looking to find out if there are different versions of the built in wireless antenna in a laptop which comes factory installed with either a wireless B, B/G, or A/B/G card. Does anyone know?

The antennae are the same in all T4X models, only the mini-PCI cards change.
