how many people run windows from system restore ON?? personally i always disable it to save space, if something goes wrong id rather do a fresh install + im constantly backing up files anwyay. 8)

I do.
I used it only once...when upgraded wifi drivers...

I clean installed over the weekend. I like it better than factory setting and updated all the drivers with latest version. It now runs faster and smoother. I partitioned 10 and 30 and store all my personal files in the 10GB space while 30 has OS and all the program files. If I have to fresh install everything again I would just back up Driver anf IBMtooll folder and format the 30GB space w/o having to backup my personal files on a CD or another computer.
I doubt I will be using the system restore disks anytime soon.
