T42 making weird static sounds while scrolling

Hello,

I just got my T42 back from IBM service depot cause of the famous video card problems. Since I just got my laptop back, I popped the HD back in and starting checking out some sites and I'm starting to hear weird static/stretching sounds from the speaker.

I'm sending the laptop back in for warranty service, but not sure if they can fix it.

This developed after they installed a new MB.

Any help would be great.
