Does 02K8668 port replicator work on Thinkpad T42??

Hi everyone,

do you know if I can use the port replicator whose part number is 02K8668 with thinkpad IBM T42??? If yes, usb port will support USB 2.0 throughput and LAN gigabit bandwidth?
If not, which old port replicator work with it???

You cannot use any of the old port replicators with a T4X series machine, although the new T series PRs can be used with older T series machines.

The new PRs have an adjustable backstop that provides the correct mounting position for the connector on the bottom of the laptop. They also have a spring-loaded flap that allows you to mount a unit with a 9 cell battery installed.
