Make your screen stop stretching when you change the resolution? I mean if you set it to 1024, something that will just make the screen use 1024 native pixels, and leave the un-used pixels black, instead of stretching everything and interpolating it..

I mean like the first time you take your ThinkPad out of the box, the Windows setup has a big black border around it. It's a lower resolution than your screen, but it doesn't stretch.

I'm asking because I'm finding most games don't support 1400x1050, and when you change it, everything gets smudged :?

Well this is a shot in the dark but maybe Powerstrip does that. I'm not sure though.

The BIOS and ATI control panel have that option, called expand desktop (or someting like that) and scale image to panel size (under the display tab in advanced settings), respectively.

Wow, thanks!! That did the trick perfectly, no more blurred out games. If anyone else wants to do this, the exact location of the option is Display Properties > Settings Tab > Advanced Button > Displays Tab > Panel > Scale image to panel size. Atleast on my T41p, with FireGL drivers... I'm a happy camper :D

I tried that, but it doesn't seem to do anything? The F8 button doesn't seem to have an Fn function printed on it either on my keyboard... This is a 2373-GEU :?:

Yeah, I have a 2378-FVU and it didn't appear to do anything on mine either, unless it has to be having the problem first, then that will fix it.
