T41 don't change IP when I select a new location profile

Hello all,

This is my first post here, and I'm sorry to start with a question.

I'm a CNC, PLC and robots programmer and I'm using a lot the laptop when I'm down in the workshop to make changes or to program the machines. In fact one of the best tools (for me of course) that has the IBM laptop is the Fn+F5, that allows me to change the IP of the computer to a completely different one only selecting a new profile.

The problem I have is that when I select a new profile the window with the progress bar appears and all the process is completed properly, but the IP is not changed.

Any idea on what could I try to solve that?

Of course I can do it using windows but it is much more slow.
