t41's really hotter than the t40's?

i notice that when I compare the heat coming out of the exhaust vent on the left side of the two models my t41 is hotter than the t40 of my colleagues. and the t40's fan is really quiet that my t41.

is this normal?

Even when running at full speed (not full CPU) my T41 runs barely off cold (40 degress C). I have never had a laptop (ever) that ran this cool.

dude.. do we have the same part number for the T41? i'm just wondering why mine runs hotter

My T41 is a 2373-1HU, but it has a faster processor now and faster hard drive now, so the part number may not be relevant. Get Mobile Meter (search these forums) and see what temperature your machine runs at.
