Still Love my T43 2687D3U Update

#1 Post by anthony » Fri Dec 21, 2007 10:16 am

Just checking to say that my 2005 purchase is still holding up and performing admirably. Knock wood, not a single serious problem; not even a dead pixel. I'm still recommending Thinkpad to as may people as I can. Can't even imagine going back to any other brand.

Hope most of you are still as happily married. Happy Holidays.

Ideapad purch Oct 2013. Cannot recommend.

I bought the exact same model in October 2005...could not be happier with its performance and versatility, especially with the Mini-Dock.

I love my T41, your T43 is the same body style but like way faster, it's all good. I'd have gotten one too if I hadn't been so poor!

I wouldn't call someone poor when he owns 9 macintoshes or something like that..

I bought my T43 2686-M5U in Sept 2005, which was the cheapest SXGA+ model listed on IBM's website. I didn't know tabook at that time. So far I've spent two hassle-free years with it. Once I spilled it with a whole glass of water but it turned out to be okay after I had taken it out of the fridge and dried it out the next day morning. That's something I like about ThinkPAds: You don't have to baby them.

I want to wish a merry Christmas and a happy new year to everyone on this forum, especially to those who have been generously helping others without asking for anything in return.

The newest one is like 2005. The rest are a mix of 1987, 1994, and 1998.

I do a lot of trading. I'm poor, still. Everyone who's 13 with a $5/wk allowance is poor.

13... You must be one of the youngest members on the forum. I thought there was an age limit or something. Next time I should pay more attention to the language I use.

I didn't even have a personal computer when I was 13. Neither did I know how to trade... I hope I didn't miss too much
