T41 Upgrade

#1 Post by Niceperson » Mon Dec 24, 2007 10:47 pm

My laptop is T41 (2373-7FU) ... A year ago I upgraded its HDD to 100 gb .. I wish to upgrade its now to still larger HDD ... on one of the posts I saw that it could be upgraded to 160gb ... is this possible? ... do I need to upgrade some other hardware also to achieve this ... I did not find anything about this on the IBM site which max out at 100gb HDD for this model ... any advise will be much appreciated ... thank you

You can grab any IDE drive for it. So until they stop making bigger versions of those (they haven't, there's a 250gb iirc), there is no limit.

Any 2.5" 9.5mm thick PATA (IDE) drives out there should work in T41.
