how to determind what kind of display i have?
i have a t43 but the model number sticker is missing. So i can't check it on IBM's website. Is there anyway i can check what kind of screen it is?
All i know is that under display properties it can display at a maximum resolution of 1400x1050.
thanks

Go into Device Manager and click the + sign next to Monitors.lazyazn wrote:i have a t43 but the model number sticker is missing. So i can't check it on IBM's website. Is there anyway i can check what kind of screen it is?

You should be able to view the model number in the BIOS at startup, or, if you have the Access IBM configured, it is accessible through clicking on System Information.
From the info you have given, you have a SXGA+ LCD, and if you have a 15" model, you've got one of the very desirable IPS Flexview LCDs.

my model number is 2687D4U. Under display, only says it is SXGA+ LCD but nothing about flexview. so mine is only a SXGA+ LCD but not flexview?KristianJ wrote:You should be able to view the model number in the BIOS at startup, or, if you have the Access IBM configured, it is accessible through clicking on System Information.

Consult ltwbook, it's a flexview according to that.
