Wireless radio not working

I have a T43 type 1875. I am running XP Pro. I cannot get the wireless radio to turn on (FN+F5). I have deleted the drivers and reinstalled them. They are the latest drivers per the Lenovo website. The motherboard was replace recently so I do not believe the issue is hardware related.

I could only delete the drivers using the SAFE MODE.

Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Does the wireless card appear in device manager? What card? What driver? What happens when you hit FN-F5? Is it possible wireless is disamped in the BIOS? (Config\newwork\internal wireless)
