Part number question

I want to replace my keyboard, but on the IBM ordering page they have two part numbers. What is the difference between NMB and ALPS?

The manufacturer. IIRC, NMB assembles in Thailand, ALPS in China. There have been some complaints about the ALPS keyboards on the T4* series (just search this forum), but I can't tell whether the units on the T30 were already affected by those serious quality problems.

The first one was a little cheaper, Ill just try that one. Im sure IBM has their products backed up.
