How to open a IBM travelstar harddisk

Hello ,

How can i open a hdd of IBM travelstar because it stay's stuck at one side :?:

Well, the first thing you'll need is a class 100 clean room. Of course, if you have that the rest is cake. You will not be able to do what you are proposing. Write the drive off and get a new one.

Heh, I've tried alot of things with computer hardware but not that. You are trying to open it because...

I did get it open and i know what i need to replace, so i need to look for people here in The Netherlands that have a broken disc and replace broken parts of my disc

as soon as dust hits the read/write head it will begin to wipe every sector in its path.   you need to send the disk to a data-recovery specialist, have the data recovered, and buy a new travelstar.   but, since it has already been opened, i highly doubt anyone will touch it.

you may now proceed to kiss your data goodbye...   :roll:
