IBM THinkpad Recovery software cd?

Hello ,

I lost my IBM recovery cd can i download is somwhere because i can't find nothing on google or IBM website

Nope. You can order it (them) from IBM. Just call IBM and they will send you one (I guess it's $35). What model is that? Email Bill (the host of this forum bill@thinkpads.com), he might have one copy of it, and can burn it for you.

If your warranty isn't up, it's free. I just asked for mine and they sent it in the mail.

IBM is usually so efficient that you'd think they'd have a way of actually allowing you to enter your model number and serial number... and then passing you over to a one-time download area once the information was confirmed. Maybe you'd have to call a number and speak to a tech to pass along the info then get permission to go to a password restricted one-time DL?
