My T20 died?

Hi,

I bougth an used T20 laptop, with TFT display defekt, but if I connect an external Monitor nothing is displayed on it.
It's the TFT laptop defekt?, or the motherboard?
If "only" the TFT is defekt, why nothing is displayed when an CRT monitor is connected, and laptop doesn't power up?
Can I try to change the CPU with other same? and my laptop will power up??

It's seams to be the CMOS but : *** I had tested the CMOS battery and it's Ok 3V. ***

I think that if external monitor displays nothing, the TFT doesn't fails.

What do you think about?, and what more can I do ??
