Can't boot into "Access IBM" after fresh install o

I was playing around and reinstall Windows from a CD that I created with the i386 folder. I didn't touch the pre-desktop partition. now I want to restore the Thinkpad with the "Access IBM" util, but it doesn't work.

It seems that it can't boot into the predesktop area during power-on.


any ideas?

This may be a stupid question, but can you not run "Access IBM" at all? Or is it just that it won't launch from the blue "Access" button? I'm assuming that you've tried launching it from the start menu, but I figured I'd ask anyway...

I can't run it at all during boot up. F11 doesn't even work at boot up.
