have gone wrong
It does not show anything at all although back light is on and computer works with external monitor.
I have not checked inside the lid but only have tried to reset the connector. Can it be a cable?
So if LCD is gone I have to replace it. Reading the forum I have got an idea of upgrading the 1400x1050 panel to better one. I know that the cable and inverter have to be replaced as well. So here is the main question:
I have a working UXGA LCD panel from a31p repair: 1600x1200 IDTech (IAUX14) FRUs 07n2160 05K9967. Will it fit? Are they compatible?
The UXGA LCDs for the t42 made by IDtech but they have different FRU: 92P6683.
So is this possible or anyone have done it?
