So, I have a 15" Flexview, and a 14" SXGA Samsung LCD in front of me. It seems that the newest 14" LCDs are excellent. It rivals that of the flexview. The brightness is equal or better and the text is crisp. The viewing angles are of couse much more inferior to the Flexview LCDs.
My only other experience with the 14" was a 6 month old Samsung LCD (2373GVU model). My current model is a 2373M1U. It's too bad I don't have both 14" screens to compare.
Did IBM start using new 14" Samsung LCDs?
