Thinkpad t40

#1 Post by birtheothello » Mon Feb 04, 2008 6:00 pm

I am the lucky owner of the Thinkpad t40 2373-dg1, and have read in the forum about upgrade of the HD...., but I am a little confused about what the max size of HD I can upgrade the t40 with...

I would like to upgrade it with the WD scorpio wd2500beve 250gig, can I actually do that - or what size can I max put in it..

Thank you for helping me.

Hi: Any PATA drive that will fit (2 1/2" wide, 9 mm thick) will work. The WD drive you mention will be fine.

The largest PATA drive available is the 250 WD ( the one you are looking at) SATA has larger capacities.
