Where to get a mouse button replacement?

#1 Post by ThinkPad » Thu Feb 28, 2008 12:07 am

I'm looking for the middle mouse button, for a T4x keyboard. I accidentally broke mine off when removing the keyboard. Is there a way to get just that little key? Ive searched eBay but was not able to find anything, most are letter key replacement.

I also have never seen "middle mouse button replacements", but nevertheless I suggest you contact <laptopkeys@yahoo.ca> who was very helpful recently when I needed (regular) key-replacement help. His eBay listing is --> here, and as you say, it is only about regular key replacements, but nevertheless... ask!

Best regards,

Johan

Did it actually break or just slide off? If it just slid off, then with a little trial and error you can usually slide it/ push it back on again. (I think you need the keyboard out to slide it on.)

I got a mouse key from this dude before:

He made a guide for putting them on as well.

The two edge pieces that stick out to hold it down broke (they are quite fragile) I can put the key in place but it will not stay.
