T42 inside a T40?
T42 inside a T40?
I was wondering if you could fit a T42p Mobo inside a T40.
Thank You in advance.
Thank You in advance.
If you have a quick look in the following threads: T41 Motherboard Replacement Compatibility and Replacement board assembly and t42 and r52 motherboards compatible? I believe you will find the answer!
Best regards,
Johan

Board replacement
I wish for once, in here ..... a simple yes or no would suffice..........
SO WILL IT WORK?
I have been wanting to transplant a R51 board into a A30 case. So far outside of the case it works fine I am now trying to modify the exhaust duct, sides and backplate to accomodate the newer board with very thin glass fiber, which I intend to spray black once the entire system is ready. The screws holes have been re-aligned superglued into place, which I have found isnt strong enough so I am trying to find a stronger solution, hence I say, the system still works outside the old chassis... The system even works on the A3X batteries
