I have XP Pro on the internal drive and Vista on the caddy.
For installation all I did was swap the caddy drive into the internal, to give me access to installation DVD. Once installed successfully, remove drive, pop into caddy. Reinstall XP drive, success.
Upon boot up just press F12, to select boot drive from HDD0 or HDD1, real simple.
With regards to limits; I'm pretty sure you should be able to go up to 120GB, providing its a ATA.
I've also read something regarding OSX and Intel Cores and the need to apply a patch. U should be able to install Vista, Ubuntu with no probs.
If I find the link, I'll post it up in the next few days.
