T20 Keypad question

Hi everyone, just got myself a T20 Thinkpad and thought i'd kick off my first post on here with a very stupid question. On the keypad where the left and right mouse clickers are (red colour), there is a large button under it (purple colour). What does this do????

I've looked through the IBM site and couldn't find it.

Like I said stupid question but hey, it's my first laptop.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's the scroll button for the Trackpoint.
