T41p and s-video

#1 Post by dwc » Tue Dec 07, 2004 1:37 pm

Anyone managed to connect a tv to T41p? TV option does not even appear on control panel. I suspect the FireGL T2 adapter does not support s-video.

Yes, I did S-Video TV out on my FireGL. Worked just fine for me on first try.

When I go to Displays on control panel, I get Monitor (not connected), LCD, and Flat Screen (not connected). No TV.

On yours, does TV replace one of those or does it show 4 options?

I get Monitor (Not Connected), Panel (1400x1050 50Hz), TV (Not Connected).
Note: I am in class now, thus no TV is hooked up. Nonetheless, I also only have three devices listed there.

Got it working. Uninstalled and reinstalled ATI software and the TV option came up as the third one - during installation, I had the TV connected to the laptop via s-video. It looks likes the third option is either FPD or TV and there doesn't seem to be a way to switch between the two.
