ThinkVantage wireless problem

Just got a new to me T40
Think vantage will not connect to my wireless network.
It will find router but says error 010 no association.
There is no step 3 on page where you enter SSDI goes from 2 to step 4.
says possible problem with encryption settings but no where to change setting.
I can go in and have Windows connect and it connects fine but when I restart it goes to Thinkvantage again and says connection failed.
Any hints of what I need to do

If you are using WPA-PSK encryption, in step 4, go ahead and click "Use Windows to Configure...".
