T42p Wireless Adapter driver?

So I somehow ruined my T42p HDD, including the restore partition. The box was a couple of weeks past the 3-year warranty, so of course Lenovo refused to give me restore disks. Since I do have a license for Windows XP on it, I reinstalled it from another disk and used the license # on the bottom of the T42p case to install. Totally legal AFAIK. Downloaded and installed a bunch of drivers from Lenovo's site (a hard way to save the $48 they wanted for a fresh set of disks, I know) for most of the specialty hardware, but I just can't figure out which one I need to d/l for the wireless adapter in the T42p. System manager shows a malfunctioning network adapter, and wireless doesn't work at all, but I think all I need is the driver.

Can anybody give me a specific file or URL to get this one? thanks for any help.

Which wireless do you have? You can check by looking up your model number:

^Thanks for the pointer. It says there that I have

Intel 802.11b/g wireless(MPCI)

However, that description doesn't fit exactly any of the wireless adapter drivers listed. Maybe I'm truly not thinking about this. They have drivers for:

ThinkPad 802.11bg wireless LAN Mini PCI adapter
Cisco Wireless LAN mini PCI adapter
ThinkPad Dual-Band ab and 802.11abg wireless LAN Mini PCI adapter
Intel PRO/Wireless LAN 2100 3b Mini PCI adapter
Intel PRO/Wireless 2200bg, 2915abg, 3945bg, 3945abg, 4965ag, 4965agn Mini PCI adapter

I supposed I could try them all, from most likely to least likely, but (a) that's a hassle, and (b) I might really screw up something else. So, if somebody more thoughtful could connect the dots, I'd be very grateful.

Did you buy the T42P new? If so, and you haven't changed it, the wireless card should be as listed for your model. Just download the b/g driver for your thinkpad model and install it (Intel PRO/Wireless 2200bg, 2915abg, 3945bg, 3945abg, 4965ag, 4965agn Mini PCI adapter).
