Register again with IBM after OS reinstall?

I reinstalled XP on my T42P using R&R, and the "register with IBM" icon is back. How do I get rid of it?

rc delete

or

single lc(to select the icon) and push the delete button

or

go to dos prompt and do the following

c:\>cd documents and settings
c:\>cd *insert your user name*
c:\>cd desktop
c:\>dir /w
*locate the file you would like to delete*
c:\>del *insert file name as it appears from the dir command*

um....am i forgetting another way..?? ah wells..

P.S. RC = Right Click and LC = Left Click
