Mouse wheel button not working

I have a Thinkpad T22 with a docking station (port replicator). I have a Microsoft intellimouse ps/2 mouse with a mouse wheel, and the latest driver from Microsoft.

Problem #1: The mouse wheel works fine for all programs but Lotus Notes.

Problem #2: I set the mouse wheel button to double-click and it does not work at all.

Any suggestions?

I dont' mean to bump this thread up but, this is getting frustrating. I have been searching all over the web for help but havent found any. Can anyone suggest where I can get some assistance with this. I have tried the IMB website, as well as the Microsoft website. My laptop is out of warrenty.

I do know the mouse wheel works because when I click on it in Excel i get the autoscroll feature.

My laptop is a Thinkpad T22 (model # 2647-7CU)
