Swap 14" SXGA+ from T23 to T42p - possible ?

#1 Post by check1t » Tue Apr 22, 2008 1:15 pm

Hi,

I am trying to figure out if I can take a SXGA+ LCD from old T23 and use it on my T42p notebook instead of old SXGA+ LCD (has some visible inconsistent color). Can I remove front screen cover on T42p and just install SXGA+ LCD there ? Just wondering if there could be incompatible inverter/connector problems or something like that.

For a quick reference:
LCD from T23
LCD from T42p looks like this one

Thanks!

Sorry, won't work. Connections are different.
