VIDEO CARDS ON T42/T42P?

Most likely ready to buy t42(1400x1050) instead of t42p(1600x1200) cause i think the res will be too high and too difficult for me to read on 1600x1200. However, the 64mb video card is kinda of getting a bit old. Especially if I'm planning to buy this laptop now, I just can't see how good a 64mb video card will be good in a couple of years. I do not play games, but I don't want to sacrifice my eyes for a better video card but I don't want to have an almost obsolete video card. Any suggestions?

Wait for the T43, there is a good chance it will have an R9700 or R9800 in it.

Both of those systems use the same graphic core and same core/memory speeds. The difference in video memory isn't going to mean a thing to you in terms of performance or longevity. It will only do you good to have 128MB v. 64MB of video memory if you play games or run CAD apps that require the additional texture memory.

If you want to 'future-proof' your system, you'll want to wait for the T43/T43p next year Q1/Q2 which will incorporate a PCI Express video card with faster/more advanced core.
