My T42 has 512MB RAM fitted, manufacturer Micron Technology. I want to upgrade and have two questions:
Is it advisable to stick to the same manufacturer, or is this unimportant?
Can the memories be different sizes, i.e. can I stick 1GB in the remaining slot, or do I have to get another 512MB card?
Thanks, in advance, for your help.
