The 2373P1U is the one that you want. It's got everything. However, if you subtract the DVDRW and replace it with a CDRW, drop the memory to 512MB, and video to 64MB you've got the 2373M3U. <- excellent value.

I honestly don't see a difference between 128 FireGL T2 and the 64MB Radeon 9600. In addition, the DVDRW is worthless. It burns at 2X which takes 30 mins.

Yeah I wouldn't waste the extra cash on the DVD Burner either.

If you dont use the DVD burner often, you can get one for a desktop (16x)and an external enclosure w/ USB connection, both for around $100.

Hi Johnson.

I was curious myself, if using external 5.25" enclosure with a desktop dvdrw via usb2 does it work as well as using a desktop pc connecting it internally with a dvdrw via IDE? If it does i may get one:)

Cheers.
Kenn.

ALL T42 with the 1050x1400 display has 64meg ATI 9600..

just find the model with the IBM a/b/g wifi and a fast 4ogig..
and 3 year warranty..

that will serve you very well..
