T41p 2373/2374

#1 Post by Torque » Fri Dec 10, 2004 8:41 pm

Hi guys,

Got my beautiful T41p 2374-GGG two months ago. I've been wondering. Whats the difference between a T41p 2373 and a T41p 2374? When i look in the Tabook, there's only the 2373... Is my T41p a [censored]?

Specs are the same as the 2373GGU. It's probably an education unit as T42's with the 2374 designation are education units.

I bought the thinkpad through the company I work for (Danfoss), and I couldn't see why this should be an educational unit. What are the diffences between the educational and non-educational units?

Okay, it seems that the 2374's have on-site 3 year guarantee. Could that be it?

Difference is...they are only supposed to be sold to K-12 and other educational institutions.

Actually I think the 2374 designation just means onsite warranty instead of mail-in warranty. There are 2373 models that are education models too.
