Scrolling in VMware (linux loaded)

Does anyone managed do make trackpoint or touchpad scrolling works when running Ubuntu in VMware?

I tried different kinds of method but still no avail...
Most of the method works if I boot install Linux...


Extra information: I'm running VMware on my T41 machine.

There is no current method known to simulate the trackpoint and touchpad in VMWare. In VM, the VM is forced to use the standard mouse simulated by VMWare.
