How do I disable the finger print reader?

#1 Post by rocketman » Sun Dec 12, 2004 3:46 pm

I set up the finger print software just because I wanted to make sure it works before my 30 day return privilege rolls around. Well it seems to work too good, I don't see a way to disable it now that I've set it up without doing it through the bios. Am I missing something or is going through the bios the only way to disable the finger print software? If it is it's no big deal, I just thought there should be a way to do it a more straightforward way.

I don't have one, but I would figure it would be under
Start-->Programs-->Access IBM-->ThinkPad Configuration
Then under like the Security Information or something like that. Just a guess though as, like I said, I don't have one.

Screwdriver! 8)

Just kidding!

I'd say poke around in the control panel...perhaps it's under "Security" settings.
