cloning my T40P - how?

hi, i've just done a full recovery on a T40P, using the recovery CDs. now i'd like to do the same for the second T40P and was wondering if there is a shortcut.
is there a method by which I could clone my T40P - i have a desktop pc to help me out.
i'd prefer to do that rather than go through the same set up process each time...

any hints appreciated.
