Rescue & Recovery + Norton problem

Norton Antivirus downloaded an "update". Since then R&R stops when reaching the file index.qbs, part of Norton. It indicates that the file is in use or corrupted. I have reloaded Norton and still have the problem.

Does anyone have a fix for this?

Or a recommendation for a replacement for Norton.

I hope for your sake it isn't what many of the other hits are on, a trojan infection. I assume you've scanned?

Thanks Mike. I found the same site earlier and paid to join only to find out that the solution was to use a different antivirus.

I also did a complete system scan -- nothing.
