Blinking Wireless LED on T40 ?

The wireless LED of my T40 has been blinking since this morning, which it never did before. Is my router dying or is it related to the laptop ? My connection is maybe a tad less stable than before, my router is aging a little bit, but I'm still not sure...

The wireless indicator on all my Thinkpads blink. I think this is normal... at least on my machines it is.

I currently have a T61p and mine blink as well, but only when there is some traffic it seems. Unless i'm wrong my previous Thinkpad with a Atheros wireless adapter did not blink at all.
