IBM T41 Wireless B Intermittent

I know I've asked this question before but the answer was get a Atheros 'G' card. Why is it these 'B' cards keep clicking on and off espicially under a download. They couldn't have been that way when they were brand new. Wonder whether its my wep network security causing the problem?

Any ideas?
