Beware: Recovery CDs now cost $45+ dollars

#1 Post by csj0952 » Tue Dec 21, 2004 11:25 am

I just called tech support as I was told I could get the recovery cds for free within the first 30 days of purchase. I was wrong. I blew away my IBM partition too... :(

:(

OK... when I get my new T42P, making a set of recovery disks with the provided utility is job 1.

Job 2 will be to make a good image backup, since that's what I would probably rather use, seeing as the recovery disks take a long time to restore the drive to original condition.
