T41p Bootup Problems

#1 Post by grodri02 » Thu Jul 17, 2008 2:08 pm

Hi,

I been having problems with my t41p. When I turn on the laptop, after the IBM logo sometimes it hangs. Sometimes it does make it to windows but it hangs after a few secs. Also, when I hit the blue boutton, and get to the bios it also hangs. Then i remove power and sometimes I turn it on and no logo appears. I bought one new stick of 1GB memory but no luck either. It does not boot from a CD either.

Does anyone know what the problem could be. Im going to try to see the GPU thing and see if it works.

Doesn't sound like the GPU problem. Have you tried booting to PC Doctor and running the diagnostics ?
