Good aftermarket stands for T42?

Hi guys:

Just wondering if anyone has recommendations for a good aftermarket stand to use with a T42 to elevate it for desktop viewing with an external keyboard and mouse. I've been thinking of getting the mini-dock and an exernal monitor for the new T42 I have on order, but the budget doesn't provide for the external monitor just yet.

The most interesting stand that I've seen so far is the

Kensington Laptop Desktop USB 2.0

but I'm not sure how well this would work with a T42 and I haven't seen one in person.

Do any of you have any other recommendations for laptop stands, or do you recomment just using the mini-dock and elevating it up to a better viewing position? I assume that the mini-dock can be used with the laptop open, correct? The mini-dock obviously has better connectivity but it doesn't seem to provide the best viewing position unless it is put up on a separate stand. But I'm curious about what the rest of you do.

Finally, I'm curious how big of an issue cooling is with the T42. Do I need to chose a stand for its cooling capabilities for the T42p or is that a non-issue if I'm going to be using it for many hours a day?
