16:9 aspect ratio with a T40?

#1 Post by wrybread » Tue Jul 22, 2008 4:16 pm

I'm outputting the signal from my T40 to a big TV that's 16:9 aspect ratio. The only resolutions my laptop has are:

800x600
1024x768
1280x1024
1600x1200
2048x1536

None of these are 16:9 or even close. I'm wondering if there's some way to accomplish this?

Alternate video driver or something?

I'm using XP.

Thanks for any help.

Pstrip will also allow you to add to the list of available resolutions (even if with the standard IBM drivers).
