rescue recovery on T20

anyone have anyluck installing rescue recovery on T20?

it hangs when the DOS window pops up and says "cannot install SMI" or something when trying to create the PARTIES area.

also, how do i restore the old boot sector? thanks

In principle IBM does not support R&R on a T20.

However, did you install the latest bios?

Did you install the update

i have the latest bios for the t20. the patch is not applicable because it's for machines with the Execute Disable flag which the P3 does not support
