can you use multiburner as external drive ?

With an adapter (spacer) it can be used in any Ultrabay 2000 equipped laptop or device, including the Portable Drive Bay 2000.

I get all kinds of emails for deals this time of year. One that came this morning is where I've bought from before (media) and these guys are decent to work with. Today's add was for an external firewire/usb2 multiburner for $79.99 (shipping included) for those instrested...it is a Memorex, but should do the job:
